About The Position
The Medical Assistant 3 position is within the Department of Neurological Surgery, specifically the Brain Tumor Center, which is a large clinical and research division with physicians, APPs, nurses, research faculty, staff, and trainees at the Parnassus campus. This role involves assisting in the delivery of care to patients in The UCSF Department of Neuro-Oncology, under the supervision of a Manager and guided by Ambulatory Services policies and procedures. Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of care to patients in The UCSF Department of Neuro-Oncology
- Learn and be able to assist in Neuro-Oncology practice
- Actively participate on a multidisciplinary quality improvement team to improve the health of targeted patients with chronic illness across UCSF Medical Center practices
