This position focuses on processing and reviewing complex medical and transportation claims within the Chronic Renal Disease Program. You will support providers and cardholders by ensuring accuracy, thoroughness, and timely responses. As a Medical Assistance Program Technician, you will perform the following duties: Invoice Review: Examine provider invoices for accuracy, eligibility details, and required documentation. Claim Adjudication: Determine payment amounts, reconcile service codes, and verify supporting information. System Research: Use multiple electronic systems to verify data, calculate payments, and resolve discrepancies. Provider Support: Explain billing procedures and respond to inquiries from providers and cardholders. Record Maintenance: Track claim issues, update program data, and assist with transportation applications. Quality Oversight: Approve or reject claims processed by staff and provide technical assistance to improve accuracy.
