About The Position

Dermatology & Advanced Skin Care is a growing, multi-doctor dermatology practice in the Columbia area. We are seeking a Medical Aesthetician to perform a variety of facial and body procedures to improve the appearance and health of skin. This role involves performing consultations, recommending products, educating patients on skincare, and ensuring accurate documentation. We are passionate about providing excellent medical services and believe in a team effort where everyone counts.

Requirements

• 5 years of Medical Aesthetician experience (Required)
• Excellent communication skills in person and on the phone.
• Must be friendly, professional, and well organized with attention to detail.
• Knowledgeable in different skin care treatments and products.
• Must be licensed in Maryland.
• Must be Certified from an Accredited Aesthetic School.

Nice To Haves

• Having knowledge of cosmetic procedures performed in office and make appropriate referrals to our providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of facial and body procedures including Facials, Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion, Hydrafacials, and Diamond Glow treatments.
• Perform consultations and recommend skin care products.
• Follow up with patients post-treatment to ensure expectations are met.
• Educate patients on skin care and offer custom treatment plans for their individual needs, including home care regimens.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and hygienic work area.
• Ensure accurate documentation in charts according to office protocols.
