Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of Medicaid experience
  • 2+ years of experience with LTSS (Long Term Services and Supports)
  • 1+ years of data entry experience
  • Intermediate computer proficiency experience
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
  • Must reside in the time zone of Pacific Standard Time. (PST)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electronic medical records (ECW)
  • 1+ year customer service experience
  • Knowledge of insurance carriers and managed care plans
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to work independently and as a team, and maintain good judgment and accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with health care providers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet all deadlines
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret information from others

Responsibilities

  • Engagement and relationship experience with members, providers, networks, internal and external functional partners
  • Written oral and written communication skills: facilitating internal, cross-functional and external relationships
  • Deep understanding of Medicaid and LTSS principles
  • Data entry background
  • Excel/Word knowledge
  • Computer comfort
  • Analysis of data and reports/Reporting ability
  • Basic understanding of reporting, program metrics, data analysis
  • Workflow development, gap analysis, and continuous process improvement
  • Proactive problem solving

  • Performs other duties as assigned
