About The Position
The Children’s Village Home and Community Behavioral Health Services Program provides preventive, goal-oriented services to children ages 0 to 21 who are seriously emotionally disturbed, developmentally disabled, or medically fragile. The program serves Region V, including Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Westchester, and Ulster Counties, as well as the five boroughs of New York City. Its services are intended to promote the independence of children and families and their graduation from the program. Full-time and per-diem staff provide Child and Family Treatment Support Services (CFTSS) and Home and Community Based Services (HCBS). The Home and Community Services Supervisor supervises Home and Community Service Providers and ensures they meet the obligations and responsibilities described in agency and program policy and procedure manuals, as well as HCBS and CFTSS service rules. Through ongoing, direct supervision, the supervisor ensures that CSS complete timely and accurate reports and appropriate related training.
Requirements
- Hold one of the following licenses: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychoanalyst, or Licensed Psychologist.
- At least 2 years of work experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Home and Community Service Providers.
- Ensure providers meet obligations and responsibilities outlined in agency and program policy and procedure manuals and HCBS and CFTSS service rules.
- Provide ongoing, direct supervision to ensure CSS complete timely and accurate reports.
- Ensure CSS complete appropriate related trainings.
