Requirements

Previous experience in Medicaid, billing, finance, or healthcare administration is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Compassionate, resident-centered approach when working with residents and families.

Responsibilities

Assist residents and families with Medicaid applications and recertifications.
Review, verify, and submit required documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Monitor application statuses, eligibility requirements, and recertification deadlines.
Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the Medicaid process.
Communicate with county and state agencies to resolve issues and ensure timely processing.
Collaborate with admissions, finance, social work, and other departments to support resident needs.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable regulations.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
