About The Position

The Media Strategy Analyst will play a key role in developing and executing media strategies. This position involves gathering competitive data, conducting industry research, and generating audience insights to contribute to strategy presentations. The analyst will also be responsible for campaign stewardship, including managing buy authorizations, insertion orders, media budgets, and tracking optimizations. Additionally, they will support campaign performance reporting, identify trends, and maintain communication with channel teams to ensure campaigns are running smoothly. This role offers opportunities for learning research and planning tools, staying updated on industry trends, and implementing new strategies.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of media strategies by gathering competitive data, doing industry research, and generating audience insights.
  • Contribute to the creation of strategy presentations, aiding in the development of narrative and strategy.
  • Responsible for the creation of Buy Authorizations and maintaining the Insertion Order tracker, keeping track of over and under delivery.
  • Create and maintain flowcharts, managing media budgets, and tracking optimizations.
  • Support in the reporting of campaign performance, learning how to identify trends and create the “so what” narrative.
  • Produce competitive reporting and analysis, keeping the team abreast of changes to competitor brand investment and messaging.
  • Maintain communication with the channel teams, ensuring campaigns are live and running properly.
  • Learn all research and planning tools and be responsible for pulling information for the team as needed.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, sharing out pertinent information and implementing new strategies to daily work.
