About The Position

The Biggio Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning is seeking a Media Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of a diverse, expansive unit. The role manages technical aspects of media productions and information technology services to support faculty and University outreach efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcasting, Television Production, or a related field.
• Seven years of experience in the development and production of media projects. Appropriate relevant education may normally substitute for experience at a rate of one year of education per year of required experience when the candidate has the required degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance in identifying, evaluating, recommending, designing, developing, and deploying film, broadcast, and instructional technologies.
• Collaborate with others on technologies needed to create instructional or outreach media projects.
• Maintain the studio physical plant to national broadcast standards by staying current on complex media techniques, equipment, and processes.
• Serve as a consultant on media production support issues, including broadcast, internet, and digital multimedia.
