Media Prep Technician
About The Position
The Media Prep Technician supports laboratory operations by cleaning, drying, and storing glassware; disposing of waste solutions; retrieving washroom acids and solvents; and maintaining glassware areas. The role also learns basic laboratory operations such as media production, uses the inventory and ordering system for laboratory supplies, and assists with receiving and storing supplies. The technician is expected to promote the company vision, attend work regularly and punctually, and perform activities safely and efficiently, along with other assigned duties. The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Pay is $19.00 to $22.50 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
