About The Position

The Media Prep Technician supports laboratory operations by cleaning, drying, and storing glassware; handling waste solutions; and retrieving washroom acids and solvents. The technician will learn basic laboratory operations, including media production, and use the inventory and ordering system for laboratory supplies. The role also assists with receiving and placing supplies in their proper locations. All work must be conducted safely and efficiently, with regular attendance and punctuality. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
