About The Position

WALA FOX10, the Fox Affiliate in the Mobile/Pensacola market (Market #57), is seeking a Sales Executive/Digital Specialist to join their team of integrated marketing/advertising professionals. The role is based in the Mobile-Pensacola-Ft. Walton Beach area and is not a remote position. Gray Digital Media Gulf Coast is looking for a candidate to develop new business, deliver advertising results for clients, maintain and grow existing accounts, and identify and present marketing solutions to local businesses. The position involves prospecting for new accounts through cold calls, researching accounts and the marketplace, and collaborating with various departments such as Creative Services, Traffic, and Finance. The executive will represent GDM Gulf Coast and Gray Media's digital platforms and linear stations to clients across South Alabama, Northwest Florida, and the U.S., focusing on customer growth needs, goals, budgets, and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and deliver advertising results for clients
• Maintain accounts and work to grow those accounts
• Identify and present marketing solutions to a variety of local businesses in a variety of fields
• Prospect for new accounts – make cold calls to secure needs analysis meetings and peak business interest with all the exciting programs and products we have to offer
• Research accounts and the marketplace consistently
• Work with Creative Services on video production, the Traffic Department on advertising copy traffic, Finance Department on invoicing, discrepancies, and collection issues
• Represent GDM Gulf Coast to local clients in South Alabama and Northwest Florida and across the U.S. on the best and most comprehensive digital platforms in the marketplace and all linear stations
• Understanding customer growth needs, reaching goals and budgets, and utilizing CRM tools
