About The Position

KALB Newschannel 5, the trusted leader in Central Louisiana and an NBC affiliate, is seeking a motivated, success-driven Media Executive to join its sales team. This role involves helping local businesses grow through customized digital advertising strategies, including Broadcast, Streaming, Email Marketing, Social Media, SEM, and SEO. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder, problem solver, and go-getter who enjoys connecting with people, solving problems, and helping businesses succeed. This is an active role requiring community engagement and opportunity creation.

Requirements

• Relationship builder, problem solver, and go-getter.
• Enjoys talking with people, learning about their businesses, and finding smart ways to help them succeed.
• Previous sales experience is preferred, but not a must.
• Strong drive, confidence, and a professional presence.
• The ability to prospect and network with business decision makers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to create and deliver presentations.
• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Help businesses tell their stories, reach new customers, and grow through customized digital advertising strategies.
• Meet with business owners, marketing leaders, and advertising decision makers.
• Build custom marketing strategies that fit each client's goal.
• Sell digital solutions, including Streaming, Email, Social, SEM, SEO, etc.
• Create and present engaging advertising proposals.
• Grow and manage your book of business.
• Build long-term client relationships.
• Collaborate with the Local KALB team and Gray Digital Media experts.
• Bring energy, creativity, and professionalism to every conversation.
