About the Role: As a Media Sales Executive, you’ll be at the forefront of helping local businesses unlock their growth potential through captivating advertising solutions. Your toolkit will include a dynamic mix of digital platforms, SEO/SEM strategies, digital display, email targeting, and print advertising in our beloved publications.

Requirements

  • At least two years of proven sales success.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with decision-makers.
  • Highly organized and able to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
  • Local talent based in Greenville, SC.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in strategic account management and digital execution.
  • Prior experience with a sales CRM such as Newspaper Manager, SalesForce, Workday or others.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect and nurture new business relationships within the local community through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Develop and present innovative advertising and marketing proposals that resonate with potential clients.
  • Manage your sales funnel using our CRM software, striving to exceed key performance indicators and sales goals.
  • Contribute to campaign development by engaging with clients to understand their needs and aspirations.
  • Monitor your sales progress year-over-year, always aiming to surpass your previous achievements.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, training sessions, and community events, even outside of regular business hours.
  • Prioritize your workload to meet internal deadlines and ensure a smooth approval process.
