About The Position

WALB is looking for a full-time Digital Sales Specialist to be a key player within our high-performing Sales Team! This role involves understanding client goals, optimizing success through research and analysis, and offering innovative digital solutions across various digital products. The specialist will support sales staff with dynamic marketing presentations, manage campaign execution with the Digital Media Team, and stay ahead of emerging trends in digital media and marketing. Additionally, the role requires developing and presenting concise reporting decks to highlight campaign success and provide recommendations for future campaigns. The company is a growing multimedia company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and is the nation's largest owner of top-rated local television stations and digital assets. WALB-TV is the dominant #1 news station and an award-winning NBC/ABC affiliate in Albany, GA, serving over 40 counties and offering clients television, digital, video, and email marketing solutions.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented
  • A thorough understanding of the digital advertising media landscape

  • Possess demonstrable experience working in both B2B and B2C environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Must be able to prioritize, multitask, and perform in a high-paced environment
  • Must have high organizational skills and be willing to take initiative

Responsibilities

  • Act as a secondary client contact, understanding client goals and optimizing success through research and analysis
  • Offer innovative digital solutions that span a wide array of digital products, including Paid search, Targeted Video/Display, Streaming TV, Targeted Email, Digital Audio, and more
  • Support sales staff with dynamic marketing presentations and strategies that win
  • Manage all facets of campaign execution by working with the Digital Media Team
  • A proactive approach to staying ahead of emerging trends in digital media and marketing
  • Always seeking new opportunities to enhance our strategies and deliver client solutions
  • Develop and present concise reporting decks highlighting the success of the campaign and recommendations for future campaigns
  • Promote positive working relationships within the department and the company
