About The Position

Acadia Broadcasting is seeking a Media Consultant to join their Saint John team. This role involves representing local brands including Country 94, 97.3 The Wave, RoundTable, and the community portal yoursaintjohn.ca. The Media Consultant will help local businesses grow by developing and implementing radio and digital advertising solutions. The position emphasizes creative problem-solving, real-world strategy, and tailored campaigns.

Requirements

• Are comfortable with tech and social media, including platforms like LinkedIn
• Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle

Nice To Haves

• Experience in marketing, media, and/or digital sales
• Post-secondary education in sales or marketing

Responsibilities

• Finding new business opportunities and building partnerships that support both your clients and the community
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients
• Creating smart, tailored marketing solutions that match each client’s goals (and budget)
• Working flexibly—some days in the office, some at home, some on the road meeting clients
• Keeping your accounts organized, including accurate and timely processing of account receivables
• Bringing a self-starter mindset, staying on top of details while juggling multiple projects
