About The Position

Brookdale is hiring a Med Tech/QMAP to administer or assist with self-administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by health care providers, subject to state regulations and required training or certification. The role includes observing and reporting residents’ responses to a supervisor, maintaining the medication supply room, assisting with medication cart audits, accurately counting medications, and coordinating medication deliveries with pharmacies. Responsibilities

Administer or assist with self-administration of prescribed medications and treatments, in accordance with state regulations and required training or certification.
Observe residents’ responses to medications and treatments and report them to a supervisor.
Keep the medication supply room organized and clean.
Assist with medication cart audits.
Provide accurate counts of medications.
Communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
