Careview Transitional Care of Weston is seeking a compassionate and dependable, FULL-TIME, Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join their care team and help ensure residents receive their medications safely, accurately, and with dignity. Requirements
- Valid certification as a Medication Aide / Technician or equivalent qualification through the state
- Proven experience in medication administration within a healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices
- Ability to work compassionately with individuals with diverse needs, including dementia care
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in senior care, assisted living, or nursing home environments is preferred
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents and team members
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate medical documentation related to medication administration
- Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions to medications
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Provide education to residents and families regarding medication management
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive resident care
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance skills and knowledge
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
