About The Position

This position is for a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in an assisted living community, specifically for memory care, working Sunday through Thursday nights from 10pm-6am. The role involves assisting elderly residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), documenting changes, and notifying the Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) and nurse of any concerns. The organization emphasizes supportive management, a "WOW" culture, and fully staffed buildings (housekeeping, dietary, activities) to allow caregivers to focus on resident care. Requirements

Basic computer skills
Self-starter capable of working independently
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
High tolerance for working under pressure and managing critical situations calmly
Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, family members, and professionals, and to convey sensitive information with empathy
A positive and compassionate attitude
A genuine love for the elderly
A food handler's permit (required upon hire)
CPR/First Aid certification (required upon hire)
A TB test (required upon hire)
Ability to pass a criminal background check due to past felonies

Nice To Haves

CNA certification (not required, but can be obtained while working with us)
Experience as a CNA or Med Tech
At least one year of caregiving experience

Responsibilities

Assisting our elderly residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Document and notify the Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) and nurse of any changes or concerns regarding the residents' conditions
Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator or RCC
