Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: AZ or Compact State License, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months

  • Bachelors Of Nursing Nursing and One year recent acute care experience, upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
  • Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
  • Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
  • Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
  • Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
  • Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse-to-nurse report at the bedside.
  • Assess patient/family health problems and resources taking a leadership role in the development implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care.
  • Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations.
  • Position requires providing service to one or more age groups including young adults through geriatric patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
  • Position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the organization.
  • It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.
  • The employee will support the organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the hospital wide performance improvement plan.

Benefits

  • $15,000 sign-on bonus for RNs with at least two years of ICU experience
  • $10,000 relocation allowance to new hires that meet the eligibility requirements
  • Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days: debt relief and student loan assistance. Full-time employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years, while part-time employees can receive up to $9,000.
