As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that supports patients’ well-being and recovery. You will provide individualized, comprehensive care by making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and implementing patient care plans. Dignity Health Woodland Memorial Hospital is a 108-bed acute care facility and Yolo County’s largest health care provider. It offers inpatient and outpatient surgical services, a family birth center and labor and delivery, emergency services, home health services, palliative care, inpatient mental health services, a sleep disorders center, and cancer care services. Woodland Memorial Hospital is part of Dignity Health, a health care system with a 22-state network.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience as an RN in a Critical Care Unit.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association, required within 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs, considering diagnosis, age, care setting, desire for care, and response to the care plan.
- Plan care in collaboration with other members of the health care team.
- Deliver competent care as required by the patient, plan of care, and care setting.
- Evaluate patients’ responses to care.
- Provide interactive patient and family education.
- Communicate effectively with all members of the health care team.
