About The Position

The Med Aide administers medications to residents and assists with other aspects of their daily care and routine. The role includes properly storing medications and equipment, keeping the medication room clean and orderly, maintaining accurate medication distribution records, and ensuring prescription labels and storage procedures meet state standards. The Med Aide monitors residents’ health, safety, and well-being and promptly reports changes in physical condition or behavior to the Wellness Director. The position also assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A love for working with seniors.
• A flexible, fun, energetic people person able to project calm, care, and professionalism in work-related situations.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a health care environment or equivalent is preferred.
