About The Position

The Med Aide administers medications to residents and assists with other aspects of their daily care and routines. The role includes properly storing medications and equipment, keeping the medication room clean and orderly, maintaining accurate resident medication-distribution records, and ensuring prescription labels and storage procedures meet state standards. The Med Aide monitors residents’ health, safety, and well-being and promptly reports changes in physical condition or behavior to the Wellness Director. The role also assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
A flexible, energetic, people-oriented approach and the ability to project calm, care, and professionalism in work-related situations.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a health care environment or equivalent is preferred.
