About The Position

The Med Aide administers medications to residents and assists with other aspects of their daily care and routines. The role includes properly storing medications and equipment, keeping the medication room clean and orderly, and accurately maintaining resident medication-distribution records. The Med Aide ensures prescription labels and storage procedures meet state standards, monitors residents’ health, safety, and well-being, and promptly reports changes in residents’ physical condition or behavior to the Wellness Director. The Med Aide also assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
A love for working with seniors.
Flexible, fun, energetic, and people-oriented; capable of projecting calm, care, and professionalism in work-related situations.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a health care environment or equivalent is preferred.
