The DUV Reticle Stage IBS MDU team supports engineering activities for the reticle stage, a precision mechatronic subsystem in ASML’s DUV lithography systems. The team uses MATLAB-based analysis tools to assess system dynamics and performance from measurement data. ASML is seeking a co-op student interested in mechatronics, data analysis, signal processing, and software development to help evolve these tools. The primary assignment is to develop and improve MATLAB-based tools for analyzing and visualizing DUV Reticle Stage dynamic performance, particularly power spectral density (PSD) and frequency-domain analysis. The co-op will work with experienced mechatronics engineers to understand existing methods, gather requirements, implement improvements, and validate results against existing engineering analyses. The work includes investigating existing code, documentation, and datasets; collaborating with subject-matter experts; and improving the usability and documentation of the tools. This is an on-site position in Wilton, Connecticut, with in-person attendance required for work-related events, trainings, and meetings. The student must be available for a 6- to 9-month assignment; the education and experience section specifies availability for a 6-month co-op assignment. The role is intended for a college junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
