Hunter Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Automation Maintenance Technician III to perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to molding/production machines and related equipment. This role involves machine start-up, setup, and changeovers, as well as resupplying equipment with necessary materials. The technician will also move machines, install redesigned parts and systems, and collaborate with the Production team to ensure satisfaction with maintenance services. Documentation of repairs and maintenance is crucial, along with submitting suggestions for performance improvements. The role requires troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and robotic systems, including PLC program modification. The technician will coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities, communicate effectively with production teams, and train other technicians. Generating and implementing maintenance procedures, as well as evaluating needs and generating part requisitions, are also key responsibilities. Continuous skill improvement through an apprenticeship program, job-related courses, and technical seminars is encouraged. Overtime and varying hours may be required.
