Hunter Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Automation Maintenance Technician III to perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to molding/production machines and related equipment. This role involves machine start-up, setup, and changeovers, as well as resupplying equipment with necessary materials. The technician will also move machines, install redesigned parts and systems, and work collaboratively with the Production team to ensure satisfaction with equipment maintenance. Documentation of repairs and maintenance is crucial, along with submitting suggestions for performance-improving modifications. The role requires troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, robot, linear motors, and PLC systems, as well as generating and implementing maintenance procedures and evaluating needs for replacement parts. The technician will also train other technicians and continuously improve their own skills through various development opportunities. Overtime and varying hours may be required.
