About The Position

This Full-Time W-2 role blends on-site technical service for industrial printing machinery with customer assistance and remote troubleshooting between visits. Applicants across the United States are welcome; extensive travel typically involves weeklong trips, sometimes lasting two weeks.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience with high-voltage power, control-voltage circuitry, and component replacement, supported by mechanical aptitude.
  • Readiness for drug screening and a background check, plus occasional lifting of objects weighing no more than 10 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical engineering or mechatronics education, or comparable experience backed by relevant training.
  • Practical experience setting up, maintaining, and diagnosing industrial machinery.
  • PLC fault diagnosis, ladder programming, structured text, servo technology, schematic interpretation, and TCP/IP networking.

Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, service, and repair printing machinery at customer facilities.
  • Identify electrical, mechanical, and control faults through schematics, wiring layouts, and engineering drawings.
  • Diagnose PLC and servo equipment, make minor logic changes, and troubleshoot TCP/IP connections and industrial networks.
  • Resolve setup questions, replacement-component issues, and print-output concerns involving quality standards, dimensional tolerances, and specifications.
  • Log customer concerns and service work in JIRA, finish equipment-completion records, and coordinate with worldwide service colleagues.
  • Communicate clearly, manage assignments independently, and support teammates when workloads become demanding.
