Requirements

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Expertise in high-speed automation line design, sensor selection, and material handling equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of bowl feeders, SPM, standard part selection, and electrical devices (switches, load cells, LVDTs).
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and create solutions for complex design challenges.
  • Engineering calculations for machine and tool design.
  • Team leadership and coordination skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to analyze designs for compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Experience with ISO procedures and OSHA/CE compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop manufacturing automation systems, including assembly automation, machine integration, and process optimization solutions.
  • Engineer conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and transfer mechanisms to enhance production efficiency.
  • Create and implement pick-and-place systems using pneumatic, servo, and robotic technologies.
  • Develop and integrate industrial robotic automation systems for assembly, machine tending, packaging, inspection, and material handling.
  • Design jigs, fixtures, and tooling for manufacturing, assembly, testing, and inspection processes.
  • Select appropriate bowl feeders, sensors, material handling equipment, and standard parts (e.g., LM guides, servo motors).
  • Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to produce working drawings, detail drawings, and bills of materials.
  • Conduct engineering calculations related to strength of materials, speeds, horsepower, temperature, pressure, and force.
  • Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to ensure feasibility and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Review and coordinate electrical requirements with electrical designers for input and output devices.
  • Liaise with customers, internal teams, and vendors to gather technical information and specifications.
  • Supervise design efforts, delegate tasks, and coordinate with onsite and offshore teams as needed.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, schedules, and correspondence.
