About The Position

Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be full time, 6 months in duration. Entegris uses advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue the mission.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with an expected graduation date of May 2027 or later
• Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in product testing, laboratory experimentation, data analysis, and problem-solving
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to document results, present findings, and collaborate in a hands-on engineering environment
• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, expedient characterization and analysis of wafer and reticle handling products and technologies using laboratory equipment
• Analyze test data, write test reports and PowerPoint presentations and give presentations
• Work on testing projects with Team members
• Develop new, creative, and robust test methods with high regard for product reliability
• Design, build and test laboratory equipment and test fixtures
