About The Position

Classic Collision is seeking a Mechanical Technician to inspect and repair vehicles as part of its collision repair operations. The role involves diagnosing vehicle damage or malfunctions, testing vehicle systems and components, and repairing or replacing relevant parts. The technician helps ensure completed repairs meet manufacturers' performance specifications and supports an efficient repair process. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have an advanced understanding and knowledge of repair processes and procedures.
• Have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company insurance policy.
• Have effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have organization, multitasking, and time-management skills, and be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunctions.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using equipment such as computerized diagnostic devices.
• Repair, align, replace, and adjust brake systems, and perform vehicle alignments as needed.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.
• Repair or replace engine components, brake systems, steering systems, and air bag systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support an efficient and effective repair process.
