About The Position

This role involves assisting in the maintenance of one or more compressors, with responsibility for the compressor packages and equipment. The technician will provide feedback on the operation of compressor packages, and be involved in the planning and organization of preventative maintenance (PMs) and other maintenance tasks. The position requires a minimum of entry-level diagnostic and repair skills and may involve assisting other field locations or mechanics.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Caterpillar engine experience is required.
1+ year compression process, production, and equipment related experience and/or training.
Electrical troubleshooting skills.
Teamwork.

Mechanical aptitude.
Self-motivation and self-control.
Initiative.
Planning and problem solving.
Possess basic knowledge of compressor packages, including some components and systems.
Working knowledge of relevant safety procedures and regulations.
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Valid Driver’s License with acceptable MVR required.
Less than 10 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

Waukesha engine experience is highly preferred.
Ariel compressor experience is highly preferred.
OEM, Trade School, or comparable work experience in related field/industry.
Some knowledge in gas processes and mechanics of motor compressors (Waukesha, Ariel, Caterpillar, etc.).
