Position Summary: Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements. Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability. Requirements

Understanding of machinery operation
Aptitude in using various hand tools & power tools (torque wrenches, drills etc.)
Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.
Very good communication skills
Good physical strength

Nice To Haves

High school diploma is preferred
Certification from a vocational school or participation in apprenticeship is a definite plus

Responsibilities

Perform thorough maintenance of equipment.
Ensure compliance with department processes, procedures, and practices to ensure the most accurate product delivery.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, consistently working towards the achievement of individual and team goals.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner with limited supervision
Always follow all safety rules, standards and procedures
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
