About The Position

Responsible for industrial mechanical maintenance, which includes but isn’t limited to: installation, testing, preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.

Requirements

Knowledge of industrial mechanical equipment and maintenance
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
Work in a safe manner
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Thorough understand of safety and regulatory practices, guidelines, rules and laws
High school diploma /GED required
At least 2 years Industrial Mechanical Maintenance experience required

Nice To Haves

Vocational school or Associate’s degree in related field highly preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for industrial mechanical maintenance, which includes but isn’t limited to installation, testing and repair of mechanical lubrication, pumps, alignment, separator, welding, bearings, gearboxes, valves, pumps, etc.
Uses hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble, install, align, and adjust machines.
Ensures machines perform to specifications by conducting tests; modifies and fine tunes machines.
Disassembles or dismantles machines as necessary
Gathers and assembles parts for repairs or modifications based on blueprints.
Troubleshoots and repairs machines including when unexpected issues arise.
Performs preventive maintenance on equipment as necessary
Responsible for mechanical equipment conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards;
Adhere to all regulatory and safety regulations required by PSM, MOC, OSHA, Food Safety, CJ Bio America, and State of Iowa;
Understanding the process of the manufacturing equipment and data sheets for the configuration
Performs other duties as assigned
