About The Position

Join Lantech as a 1st Shift Mechanical Technician in our CLIMATE CONTROLLED facility. As a Mechanical Technician at Lantech, you will be a member of a team that assembles the most complex assemblies on our machines. Our experienced and skilled technicians are given a wide array of challenging assemblies custom-made for our customers' wrapping applications.

Requirements

  • Has a high aptitude for working with situations of a manufacturing nature, effective use of time, and is capable of adapting to a varied work environment.
  • Practices safe work habits as an individual and with co-workers.
  • Adheres to guidelines related to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Is able to pass a pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
  • Is willing and able to work overtime to complete projects and/or meet scheduling deadlines.
  • Is customer focused with a strong commitment to quality and production schedule.
  • Is legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Mechanical aptitude and previous experience are required
  • A minimum of 3 years of mechanical experience is required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Prior experience with machining and welding is a plus.
  • Additional training from vocational or trade school is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components for the production of complex modules/machines.
  • Read mechanical blueprints, pneumatic schematics, and electrical schematics.
  • Install electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical components to the required specifications.
