About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3D model designer with expertise in Autodesk Inventor or equivalent solid modeling software. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in drafting standards, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing, solid modeling design & project management. Your role: Create/revise complex 3D models & drawings of assemblies & piece parts in Autodesk Inventor. Utilize a working knowledge of drafting standards and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing to communicate requirements & design intent. Gather technical inputs cross-functionally while using clear & concise written documentation skills to both relay and record technical information.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in complex 3D modeling, detailed technical drawings, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing, project management fundamentals and strong written communication skills.
Skills include 3D modeling (Autodesk Inventor preferred), technical drafting, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing.
Highly organized & detail-oriented team player with a strong emphasis on creative problem solving.

Must reside in or within commuting distance to Latham, NY
