Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Five years of experience in Steel Mill or Heavy industrial maintenance experience
Five years previous supervisory or leadership experience

Nice To Haves

Four year B.S. or B.A. degree in Mechanical engineering or related technical field

Responsibilities

Promoting a safe working environment and a one-division team
Leading a mechanical maintenance team
Developing preventive and predictive maintenance programs and quality systems
Maintaining and troubleshooting all types of mechanical equipment
Training and developing a maintenance team
Providing excellent customer service for area of responsibility
Playing a key role in the long-term success of the business of Nucor Steel Berkeley
Demonstrating the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times
