About The Position

Bala Consulting Engineers is seeking an ambitious Mechanical Engineer for its Baltimore office in Nottingham, Maryland. The role involves building design across all phases, including construction administration and commissioning, and managing and executing multiple projects using Revit and AutoCAD. Bala is a multidisciplinary engineering firm serving high-rise, mission-critical, multi-unit housing, commercial office, higher education, transportation, adaptive reuse, and life science facilities. This is a full-time onsite role; eligible onsite employees may work remotely one day per week.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of relevant Mechanical Engineering (MEP) experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• EIT certification and goals to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of applicable codes.
• Excellent technical, presentation, and client-interface skills.
• Knowledge and experience with all phases of building design, including construction administration and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building mechanical systems design across all project phases.
• Participate in construction administration and commissioning.
• Manage and execute multiple projects using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Develop proposals.
