About The Position

Join a leading-edge engineering team focused on designing, constructing, and commissioning mechanical and piping systems for hyperscale data center infrastructure modules. As a Mechanical / Piping Engineer, you will ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of critical data center systems from concept through commissioning. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–15 years of mechanical/piping engineering experience; 5+ years preferred for senior roles.
• Proven EPC modular engineering design expertise.
• In-depth experience with piping systems, stress analysis, and mechanical equipment selection.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, CAESAR II, NozzlePro, FEPipe.
• Strong understanding of industry codes (ASME, ANSI, ASTM, NFPA, OSHA, IBC, etc.).
• Experience with CAD/BIM tools: SolidWorks, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360.
• Excellent communication, client management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Direct data center infrastructure project experience.
• Experience with SAP engineering modules.
• Knowledge of fire suppression system design and regulatory negotiations.
• Ability to supervise project teams and outsourced engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and approve mechanical and piping design documentation to meet industrial standards and client specifications.
• Oversee and deliver technical requisitions, equipment lists, valve lists, and line sizing studies.
• Assess vendor quotations and support procurement with technical evaluations.
• Conduct piping stress analysis using CAESAR II, NozzlePro, and FEPipe.
• Prepare and review bulk material take-offs and detailed bills of materials.
• Support plant manufacturing, troubleshoot site installation and commissioning issues.
• Represent the company in client meetings, providing clear technical guidance and solutions.
• Advise on code compliance, material selection, insulation, and equipment mounting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and supervise outsourced engineering work as needed.
• Stay current with advancements in data center technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
