About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to install, maintain, repair, and dismantle machinery and equipment in industrial settings. The role requires mechanical aptitude, precision, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Candidates must have at least five years of verifiable craft experience and be able to work at heights. Excellent attendance is required. Applicants must pass a drug test, physical examination, E-Verify, and a background check. The journeyman rate for candidates with a minimum of five years of verifiable experience is $30.00 per hour. Per diem is $125.00 per day worked, subject to a minimum of eight hours worked.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of verifiable craft experience as a Millwright.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Strong mechanical skills and knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent attendance.
• Must pass a drug test, physical examination, E-Verify, and a background check.

• Technical school certification or apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and align machinery and equipment according to specifications.
• Maintain and repair machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues.
• Dismantle machinery and equipment for repair or transportation.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubricating parts, cleaning, and adjusting equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
