The Lordstown Energy Center is a natural gas-fired combined-cycle power plant. It features two Siemens SGT6-8000H combustion turbines and advanced air-cooled generators. The facility includes NEM triple-pressure reheat heat recovery steam generators and a Siemens SST6-5000 condensing turbine with a hydrogen-cooled generator, designed to optimize efficiency while supporting the regional power grid. Additional infrastructure, such as a 14-cell cooling tower and emissions control systems, underscores its commitment to reliable energy generation and environmental stewardship. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician at the Lordstown Energy Center ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of combined-cycle equipment through preventive, routine, and predictive maintenance programs. They troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul critical mechanical systems and balance-of-plant equipment, support planned outages and system upgrades, and coordinate contractor activities while maintaining safety and quality standards. Collaborating with team members, they provide training, maintain documentation and spare parts, and contribute to overall plant reliability and performance.
