About The Position
The client is located in the Uniondale, NY area and has an opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in the electronic manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial machinery within a production facility. This is a direct hire, on-site position.
Requirements
- Experience repairing pumps and various machinery
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and technical manuals
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Knowledge of vacuum systems, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and repairing industrial machinery within a production facility
- Conducting inspections and preventative maintenance checks on building systems, including HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, and fire safety equipment
- Performing scheduled lubrication and filter changes on machinery
