About The Position

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician provides mechanical support for maintenance, engineering, and production. Support includes troubleshooting, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of the plant assets, focusing on safe, reliable, and cost-effective production in a lean manufacturing environment. Provide mechanical support including design, modification, adaptation, installation, problem solving, and troubleshooting on various equipment in conjunction with electrical personnel. Will direct and or perform in various maintenance tasks both safely and efficiently. Responsible to assist other production team employees about specific equipment and processes. Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant mechanical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated precision maintenance skills relating to general rotating machinery installation and maintenance.
Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and P&IDs.
Hydraulic system maintenance and repair or similar lubrication system experience.
Basic welding and pipefitting expertise.

Nice To Haves

Associate (AS) degree in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance or relevant field, or an equivalent number of years of education and relevant maintenance experience preferred.
