About The Position
Delivering Quality Maintenance That Supports Student Success. Lincoln Land Community College is searching for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain the college’s facilities and equipment to perform preventive and operational maintenance. This position will also repair and install college mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems. LLCC strives to create an inclusive workplace and environment for our students, faculty, and staff. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Read and interpret blueprints as they relate to the mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems of the buildings.
- Valid Illinois driver’s license.
- Two years experience in repair and installation of HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment, including hot water boilers, centrifugal chillers, pumps, water treatment and pneumatic and digital controls.
- Possess Universal Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, drug-screen, physical, and functional capacity exam.
