About The Position
The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated material handling systems. This role involves inspecting, repairing, and replacing mechanical components such as motors, bearings, chains, belts, rollers, and gearboxes. The technician will diagnose and resolve mechanical equipment issues, conduct routine equipment inspections and safety checks, and maintain maintenance logs and documentation. Additionally, the role supports equipment startup and operational stabilization activities and requires close collaboration with controls engineers and operations teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience working with conveyor systems or automated equipment.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ASRS, sortation systems, or warehouse automation equipment.
- Welding, fabrication, or mechanical assembly experience.
- Previous experience in logistics automation projects.
