About The Position
This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on automated material handling systems. The technician will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing various mechanical components, diagnosing and resolving equipment issues, and conducting routine inspections and safety checks. Additionally, the position requires maintaining maintenance logs, supporting equipment startup, and collaborating with controls engineers and operations teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience working with conveyor systems or automated equipment.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ASRS, sortation systems, or warehouse automation equipment.
- Welding, fabrication, or mechanical assembly experience.
- Previous experience in logistics automation projects
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated material handling systems.
- Inspect, repair, and replace mechanical components including motors, bearings, chains, belts, rollers, and gearboxes.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical equipment issues.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and safety checks.
- Maintain maintenance logs and documentation.
- Support equipment startup and operational stabilization activities.
- Work closely with controls engineers and operations teams.
