About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for projects located in or around Baytown, TX. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $32-$45/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing mechanical maintenance experience
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical schematics
- Basic electrical knowledge related to mechanical equipment
- Experience with preventative maintenance and CMMS systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in hot, cold, noisy industrial environments
- Willingness to work overtime and rotating schedules as needed
Nice To Haves
- Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid power troubleshooting skills (servo experience preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain manufacturing equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and restore equipment to OEM specifications
- Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, SOPs, and JSAs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with training other employees
