The location in Johnsonburg, (Pennsylvania, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for its J1 Paper Machine. This job is full-time permanent.

Requirements

  • Leadership skills
  • multiple years’ mechanical work experience in an industrial setting
  • strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge
  • Ability and willingness to support a 24/7 operation

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree with emphasis on mechanical technologies
  • familiar with reliability centered maintenance practices and predictive maintenance tools, including but not limited to vibration analysis, thermography, lube analysis and failure analysis techniques
  • SAP system experience
  • Pulp and Paper equipment experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the day-to-day activities of a work group of about 10 employees.
  • Responsible for day-to-day mechanical troubleshooting, timely issue resolution and reliability improvement activities.
  • Responsible for planning and scheduling the maintenance team to safely achieve controlled backlog management.
  • Ensures that the predictive and preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to timely.
  • Identify potential problem areas and act to increase reliability and reduce costs.
  • Set performance expectations and provide feedback to team members on areas of improvement using performance management skills.
  • Responsible for safety and training within the department.
