About The Position

The Mechanical Maintenance and Operations Technician I position is responsible for maintenance of systems and coordinating the work of others, performing maintenance duties on associated equipment.

Requirements

• Two years of experience in the maintenance or repair of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, or electrical systems.
• Formal training in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the work of contractors installing, repairing and maintaining HVAC systems
• Performs maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical systems and associated equipment
• Performs checks and tests on mechanical equipment
• Repairs and maintains electrical, plumbing and other operations
• Performs general maintenance duties as well
• Performs other duties as assigned
