About The Position

The Mechanical Machine Technician mechanically configures machines to customers’ CNC lathe specifications. The work includes mechanical adjustments, disassembly and modification of mechanical subassemblies, and final installation and testing of machine accessories. The role also requires performing some basic wiring on machines’ high-voltage and 24-volt communication systems.

Edge Technologies provides machine-tool automation and peripheral equipment for the metalworking industry. The technician works in a team-oriented setting integrating Edge and FMB product lines with CNC lathe technologies, supporting the company’s customer-first culture and commitment to excellence.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in machine building or automotive repair.
• Above-average mechanical ability and skill with hand and power tools.
• Professional work habits.
• Proficiency using a multimeter and following wiring diagrams or schematics to perform basic wiring.
• Ability and willingness to learn more advanced wiring and troubleshooting techniques through training.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Technical school certificate in a related discipline; equivalent demonstrated practical experience is acceptable.
• Knowledge of overhead crane operation.
• Fork truck experience.
• Commercial driver's license.
