About The Position

As a Mechanical Installer, you will join our Installation team supporting large-scale material handling and conveyor system projects across the continental United States. This role is responsible for the layout, pre-assembly, installation, and run-in of conveyor equipment, including structural and header steel, platforms, guardrail, rack systems, and air piping. Successful candidates will bring 1–5 years of hands-on installation experience, the ability to read engineered drawings, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. This is a 100% travel position requiring extended stays at job sites and the ability to work in physically demanding construction environments while supporting and guiding less experienced personnel.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience and knowledge in installing and/or maintaining conveyor equipment is helpful.
  • Basic Mechanical and Technical Curiosity
  • A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and hand tools are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings.
  • Are good communicators and are willing to take direction to ensure projects meet stringent standards.
  • Hold at least a high school diploma or equivalent experience, with technical degrees or niche training preferred.
  • Can acquire OSHA 10 certification upon hire.
  • Some computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the layout and pre-assembly of conveyor systems, ensuring flawless component integration.
  • Install header steel, platforms, structural steel, and various mechanical components with precision.
  • Assemble and align conveyors, guard rails, racks, and air piping (aluminum, copper, black iron).
  • Interpret and work from detailed mechanical drawings, layout diagrams, and assembly instructions to successfully implement project plans.
  • Adhere strictly to safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, and company quality standards to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and in a safe condition.
  • Be ready for a role that involves 100% travel, with extensive trips across the U.S.
  • Physically handle jobsite demands, including lifting at least 50 lbs, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, and walking across large construction sites in various climates and conditions.
